When a waterlogged trapdoor is closed, it doesn't always stop the water from flowing, plus it can sometimes create mini sources of water.

My general mob farm uses waterlogged trapdoors to flush out the mobs but sometimes it just keeps letting the water flow even if the trapdoor is closed. Furthermore, on occasion, this would cause little source of water to appear and ruin my whole system. I call the mini because these sources are about half a block tall, as if they were waterlogged slabs but the blocks they are on are solid blocks. I find that this is only affected on servers. And yes I did check that I had a good connection and that it wasn't my ping.

I expected for the trapdoor to close and the water to stop flowing but it doesn't

The steps to repeat this bug are to:
1: Make a redstone clock that opens and closes the waterlogged trapdoor periodically. (About every 5 to 7 seconds in my case)
2: Wait to see what happens...

Thanks you for your patience and hopefully this can be resolved.
