As of 02/02/2020, I decided to start playing Minecraft again. After not being open for a long time, the launcher needed to be updated. After the update, I entered the game and started playing normally and everything was fine.

As of 02/03/2021,  when loading my world, I needed to back it up as there was another update. So I did back it up like I usually do and entered the world. Everything was fine for a few seconds but when I tried smashing a block, nothing was dropped. Also, the right-click functions of the mouse won't work (for clarification, my mouse works fine) when interacting with world objects such as bed, chest, or working bench didn't work.

Deleted the said world and created a new one. It worked normally for a minute or two and the same issue occurred.  When exiting and saving the world, the game gets stuck on the 'Saving World' screen.

Please advise.
