Player Animation
If the player is eating an item while traveling through a portal block, the eating animation will not play through properly. Instead, the animation is finished early the the player finishes consuming the item.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Set a portal block
/setblock ~1 ~ ~1 minecraft:nether_portal
- Enter the portal
- After a second or two, start eating an item. Continue to hold the 'use' key as you change dimensions.
Observed Behavior:
When the player is sent to the nether/end, after a short perioud you will hear a burp sound, eating particles appear, and your item stack decreases, but the hand animation does not continue at all.
Expected Behavior:
The hand animation would continue through dimension changes, or the eating animation would be canceled all together, not allowing the player to finish eating the item.
