I installed Minecraft today on Manjaro Linux from this repo by running makepkg -si
https://aur.archlinux.org/minecraft-launcher.git
It works except the chat in Multiplayer. I tried on two different servers.
When i press 'T' it says "cannot send text message", even when I use chat option 'shown', tried the same with 'commands only' and 'hidden' .
I cannot enter commands by pressing - either
