When my inventory is full, and I pick up an item, it gets deleted

I expected that it wouldn't interact with the character at all, but it looks like I picked it up, even though I didn't.

To recreate this bug:
1. Fill your inventory
2. pick up a dropped item
3. The item looks like it was picked up, but actually got deleted
