Gameplay
The Bug
When candle cakes are eaten, the candles don't produce any sounds, particles, or subtitles upon being destroyed.
Steps to Reproduce
- Place down a cake and a candle on top of it.
- Eat a slice of the cake and as you do this, take note as to whether the candle produces sounds, particles, or subtitles upon being destroyed.
Observed Behavior
When candle cakes are eaten, the candles don't produce any sounds, particles, or subtitles upon being destroyed.
Expected Behavior
When candle cakes are eaten, the candles would produce sounds, particles, and subtitles upon being destroyed.
Original Description
This is due to there not actually being a minecraft:candle block being broken, but from a gameplay perspective that distinction shouldn't matter - it would be expected that breaking a candle and a candle being broken off of a cake would act basically identical.
