Even though third person view camera can pass through transparent blocks like glass, it can't pass through ladders, which can be placed on glass. Third person view camera can pass through iron bars.

How to reproduce:

1) Make a wall out of glass

2) Place ladders on the other side of the wall

3) Stand next to a wall and enter third person view

4)  Notice how camera gets blocked by ladders
