Windows 10, Java Version 8 Update 261 (Build 1.8.0_261-b12)
-
Unconfirmed
I cannot say it is actually version 1.16.1 in the drop down menu.
What I expected to happen was...:
The Minecraft Texture packs shouldn't be incompatible
What actually happened was...:
Whilst playing minecraft in fullscreen my screen kept going black resulting in me being unable to play properly I have updated drivers and updated java but still no luck at fixing the issue. I then went to change texture pack and noticed that the 3rd party packs work fine but the original texture packs say that they are incompatible and are for a newer version of minecraft. I tried redownloading 1.16.1 but that hasn't fixed the issue. I have also used 1.15.2 and 1.16.2 and both are fine, it is just this version that doesn't seem to be working. I don't know if this texture pack issue is linked to my screen going black but it would make sense if it is.
Steps to Reproduce:
I do not know how this occurs I believe it is something to do with my jar file specifically as I think this all started ever since I started using 1.16.1. I would include my 1.16.1.jar file but it is too big to include.
