While flying using an elytra, if the player tries to shoot a projectile, there is a chance that the projectile hits the player. This is not equal to MC-181884 since it also appears at smaller speeds.

This affects the following projectiles: Arrows from both bows and crossbows, tridents and splash potions. It is unclear whether this affects snowballs, eggs and/or enderpearls.

       To reproduce this bug:

Use an elytra in survival and fly around while firing projectiles. Eventually, one of them will hit the player and they will take damage. Using an enchanted bow, this might even kill the player.

      Suspected cause:

The origin of the projectile seems to be off, since it seems to sometimes appear behind the player. If the player flies into the trajectory of the projectile, they will get hit.
