What I expected to happen was...:
I've had a few worlds that I've updated with each snapshot. I've had tree farms growing giant spruce trees which have been growing fine up until 20w17a.

What actually happened was...:
Starting in 20w17a, giant spruce trees wouldn't grow in my tree farm or anywhere in the world. Even with tons and tons of bonemeal, they wouldn't grow in the same conditions as they would in earlier versions. In 20w19a, i figured out that giant spruces would grow but only in chunks loaded in 20w19a.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a world in 20w17a
2. Try growing a giant spruce in that version - it shouldnt work
3. Exit the world and load the same world in 20w19a

4. Go far enough away to find chunks that weren't generated in 20w17a and grow a giant spruce tree - it should work.
