What I expected to happen was...:
Leaves from trees de-spawn after the tree is chopped down. And that trees grow.

What actually happened was...:
Tree leaves do not de-spawn; And trees do not grow.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place 2x2 of dark oak saplings
2. wait for these to grow, or bone meal them.
3. Realize they do not grow.
