I was playing on my server that I have 3 GBS allocated to, and i used /kill and it wouldn't kill me, so i disconnected. Then the server wouldn't show up in my servers menu, but when I tried to join it would just stop at "Logging In". I waited 8 minutes and the issue was fixed.

What I expected to happen was...:
The command to kill me.

What actually happened was...:
I just stood there and the server didn't kill me. I disconnected and the server wouldn't let me on for 8 minutes. Then it respawned me.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go on a MC server running snapshot 13w24b
2. Use the command /kill
3. The server lags out and wont let you join until it recovers.
