The bug
You are unable to spawn a mob using a spawn egg against a flowing liquid, but against sources you can.
How to reproduce
- Place water and make sure that it flows
- Aim against a flowing water block and make sure that you don’t aim a block through the water
- Right click
What actually happened: No mob got spawned. But if you aim against a source block it works.
What I expected to happen: You can also spawn the mob by aiming at flowing liquids not just source blocks.
