      What I expected to happen was...:
      water (without a source block) spawns in villages next to plants.

      What actually happened was...:
      This happens repeatedly, in villages there are crops growing, surrounded by wood. there are water source blocks in side them. the bug is that water spawns next to these with no source block. There is a place where the water flows from but it isn't as high. The water doesn't flow very far either. If there is a block update next to the block that the water is flowing from then the source disappears and the water disappears the same way normal water does.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      In my super flat worlds: ( 2;7,100x3,2;1;village)
      In creative mode.
      Villages have this water glitch next to the crops that are surrounded by wood logs.
