The game only seems to load the biome color mapping at launch. Switching between resource packs does not update the biome colors. To actually get the biome colors to change I have to exit the game fully and restart it with a different pack.

The attached screenshot shows what happens when I launch the game with my Mooncraft pack selected (solid light gray biome colors) and then switch to the default texture.
