If a texture has partial transparency in it, it acts sort of like the ice texture. If there is nothing behind the block it will be grayscale (when there is something behind it it will show colors correctly).

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Install attached resource pack
      2. look at grass block

      What I expected to happen:
I expected all partially transparent textures to display all partial transparency as a solid color (like it would in 1.5.2).

      What actually happened:
The texture is partially transparent and renders as white/grayscale if there is no other block behind it (by that I mean no block that is having it's texture rendered). Also when you press escape or open chat it will render like normal. There are also some other weird bugs (like the ice texture bugs, and render bugs along chunk boarders).

I don't know if this is a step toward colored glass or just a bug with resource packs, but it causes annoying artifacts with some things that I have done. If this is intended it should be configurable with a "renderpass" option in a mcmeta file.
