Hey. When you place a rail, it allways faces direction 0, until antoher rail adjacent to it is placed- it then changes the direction. The fact that the rail is actually altered by adjacent rails makes some build really hard or maybe impossible. As an example- i want to place 10 lines of rails next to eachother and i want all 10 of them to be completely straight, with powered rails at each end. On the screenshot you can see that i try to place another powered rail next to a allready placed one, and they connect, which is not what i want. Auto-aligning makes this impossible. If you could make it so that rails are placed the same way as the logs and stairs and slabs, so that they orient themselves depending on the block the rails are placed on or however that works, it would be much easier and flexible.
