The bug
You can create floating weeping / twisting vines, kelp, or bamboo by instantly breaking and placing a block in the middle of the complete plant. Updating the plant doesn't cause it to break either.
How to reproduce
- Place a weeping/twisting vine or bamboo or kelp that goes up/down
- Look at anywhere in the middle of the plant and break the vine and replace it in the same tick
- Observe the floating plant
