Standing/walking between two fires (one beside the other. seems to affect both types) while in creative mode makes the player catch fire

What I expected to happen was...:
Nothing. You aren't supposed to catch fire in creative.

What actually happened was...:
You catch fire when standing between two fires

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Light two blocks (that are one beside the other) on fire 
2. Stand or move between them while in creative (effectively walking on the line between the two blocks)
3. The player should catch fire
