If you turn hit-boxes on (F3+B) while in creative mode, and enter your inventory you will notice that the rose (decoration blocks) has a hit-box. Sometimes to produce this you must turn hit-boxes on, then spawn a mob (ex. slime) within agro range. The attached screen-shot shows the bug.
