Back in 1.13.2, I wanted to build sheep pens, and I had a sheep spawner room from where I took the sheep. I hung the first sheep with a lead and I flew (I was in creative mode) above the fences to make the sheep land very smoothly on its pen. When I left it, it died instantly, but I didn't know there was a bug tracker. So now, I thought that since MC-153698 was fixed, this would have been fixed too. So I tried it and here we are in this ticket.

      How to reproduce:

      1. Enter a world inĀ creative mode.
      2. Hang a mob with a lead.
      3. Fly and take it somewhere else.
      4. Try to make it land smoothly on the ground by going down gradually.
      5. Let it land smoothly.

What I expected to happen was:

Since it landed smoothly and not very fast, the mob would stay alive.

      What actually happened was:

The mob took a ton of fall damage and died.
