Swinging Sword in Creative Mode

What I expected to happen was...:
Move smoothly while swinging my sword

What actually happened was...:
Swinging any type of sword on a block in creative mode causes the player to freeze for a moment

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter creative mode

2. Hold any type of sword

3. Look at any block/blocks

4. Swing the sword constantly and move while looking at a block
