When the player is out of water, or somewhat close to a magma or soul sand block, bubble columns don't render.

What I expected to happen was...:
Bubble columns should render when the player is out of water, and when the player is close enough to them to notice bubbles are gone.

      What actually happened was...:
Bubble columns disappear too close to the player, and when the player is out of water.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Find an ocean structure with bubble columns, or create one.
      2. Look at the column above water, then in water while close, and again while farther away.
