Typing in the /locate command seems to freeze the world. Your character can still move and destroy blocks, but no entities will drop, all mobs freeze, you can not interact with anything, and can't use commands. When the /locate command is typed, there won't even be a message in the chat saying the action failed or worked. Trying to save and exit causes the entire game to freeze and will never leave the game, until task manager is used.
