So I have made an oven where there is a campfire, a hopper below to collect food, and a hopper above to give it raw food I put in it. 

My problem is that the top hopper doesn't give it the raw food I put in it. I have tried doing the hopper sideways and other methods, but nothing works.

Does anyone have a solution, or is this a thing that Mojang should patch?
