Horses still despawn when dismounting. They will make noise when walking and heavy breathing, but are invisible and not targetable.The only way to restore the horse is to walk out of visual range and return, go to the nether and come back to the overworld, and possibly save/quit and come back in. I have been having this problem for a year since version 13. It is now late Aug 2019 with Java version 14.4. Other postings on this bug say its resolved but I see no evidence of how we fix this.

Please provide link on how to fix this manually. Thus far no push-updates have fixed this issue.
