I was playing in my survival world and copied the same world in the saves in .Minecraft folder. After that I quit and save to title and played the copied version of my survival world, but I was surprised when the world reverted back to the progress I made about an hour ago but my inventory is still the same right  before I quit. It didn't save my world progress, same happened to my original survival world. The things I did in the world for an hour didn't save.
