What I expected to happen was that I was going to set the minecart on the activated rail and it would work just fine like normal and I could go back and forth between houses quickly and easily.
The thing that actually happened though was when I set the minecart onto the activator rail, the minecart started to do the shaking animation as if another player was breaking it. Whenever I try to enter the minecart it kicks me out right away, this doesn't happen when the activator rail is inactive
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go into a single player minecraft 1.14.4 world and grab a minecart, redstone torch, and an activator rail
2. place down the activator rails and a redstone torch next to it then place the minecart onto the activated rails
