Mojang Realms 1.14.4 Java edition. I am playing on a vanilla launcher, vanilla client. Java version? I assume the version that comes with Mojang, some old java 8 build. My system itself runs on java 11 jvm, macOS Mojave.

Mob behaviour
When the villager goes to sleep in a bed and you drop items on it, it tries to pathfind the item to pick it up while it's sleeping. It behaves strangely. Moving sideways in the bed, or it goes to the bottom of the bed, it gets up, gets stuck on composter sometimes or blocks, and after picking it up, goes back to sleep.
Apologies if I am missing out instructions, I am not sure how to word these things, or how the technical terms should be for what these entities are doing.Hopefully the video included gives a better impression.
What I expect to happen:
The villager stays in bed, doesn't move around (besides perhaps its head) and the item goes Plop into its inventory, and to be honest, I didn't think it would pick anything up when it was asleep.
What actually happened:
I drop the item while it's asleep, the farmer as seen in the video, and it goes plop, but not until the villager gets either out of bed, moves fast, and goes back to bed, or it sliiiiides inside the bed from side to side, towards the dropped item. Or it slides down to bottom of the bed, through other blocks, to pick up the item. This looks really strange and I don't believe this should happen.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a farm, lock villager inside 9x9 area or whatever, put a bed down, put composter down. It will be a farmer, change to night. It will go to sleep. Now drop items on the bed where it's sleeping. It will attempt to pick up and act weird.
Extra: It can get stuck and jitter in place if it got out of bed right next to a block like the composter and get stuck in that spot until there's another interaction. This happens rarely, but it does happen.
