If you chop down a tree near the edge of a chunk, evne of powerful systems like mine, the game will drop to 10/20 fps for about a second and then will catchup.

Replication this is very easy:

• load up a new world on any 1.14.x version without the OptiFine mod
• Press F3+G to show the chunk edges
• Chop down a tree in Survival Mode
