When an item frame is placed in the ceiling and you left click it to drop it. it dissapears. i tested it further and it is because there are 3x3 blocks above the item frame and when the it drops it drops upwards and into the 3x3 blocks. if there is a space above the 3x3 the item frame and item in it drops there. But if there are 3x3x3 blocks above the item frame the item just dissapears/ gets destroyed
