When I changed the Follow Range tag of a zombie to 0, the zombie no longer chased me. I tried this on other mobs, but I found that Spiders, Slimes, angry Zombie Pigmen, Silverfish, and Enderdragons are unaffected by the tag's value, and will always follow me with their default range.
