The setting in which this problem occurred is in my self made desert village. I made my own village in the middle of the desert and the only village was an acacia one and since you can't make acacia villagers turn into desert ones I went into creative and spawned my own. I have my own building for the librarian and cartographer and that's where the bug happened.The setting in which this problem occurred is in my self made desert village. Whenever I try and trade with my desert Cartographer villager it freezes my game. When I try and exit it freezes on the screen of saving and exiting. The x button doesn't work either and no matter how long I wait it doesn't close. I can only make it close by restarting my game.
This happens in my singer player game and when I trade glass panes. It doesn't happen for any other trade so far.
