On several occasions, Zombie Pigmen would become aggressive after one is attacked. However, the radius in which they become alerted grows and causes many to start swarming. They become continuously aggressive, even after the player has been killed.

The only method I found for removing this aggression is by switching to peaceful, which cannot be done when locked in a specific difficulty unless opening to LAN and allowing cheats.
