No Drops from items or mobs after upgrading world to 1.14.3 pre 1

What I expected to happen was...:
when items are broken or mobs killed, items should drop, depending on the item and what is used to break it

What actually happened was...:
build golem farm in newest release, and no drops are coming in chests, tried to break items to rebuild the farm, but no items were dropping

Steps to Reproduce:
1. all i did was open a 1.14.2 world in 1.14.3 pre 1
