Ever since the 1.14 update, I've been unable to get new woodland explorer maps from cartographers in villages.
What I expected to happen was...:
Prior to 1.14, I would go to a village, find a cartographer, trade up to unlock the woodland explorer map, then get it.
I would then travel to the woodland mansion, going through it room-by-room until I got everything out of it. Once satisfied, I would then travel to a new nearby village, find a new cartographer and get a new woodland mansion map that points to an unexplored woodland mansion. (If I went to the cartographer that had given me the previous map, it would continue giving me that same map, as expected.)
What actually happened was...:
Starting with 1.14 (and continuing through 1.14.1 and 1.14.2), I go to a village, find or make a cartographer by placing a cartography table near an unemployed villager, trade up to unlock the woodland explorer map, then get it.
I then travel to the mansion on the map, going through it room-by-room until I get everything out of it. Once done, I go to a new nearby village, find/create a cartographer, and trade up to a woodland explorer map. When I get the map, it points back to the previous woodland mansion.
I've tried filling in the entire explorer map before finding a new cartographer to give me a new map, but it still always points to the same mansion.
It seems like 1.14 changed the rules for explorer map generation, where previously newly unlocked cartographers would give you a woodland explorer map pointing to the nearest unexplored woodland mansion, while it now just gives you the woodland explorer map pointing to the nearest woodland mansion, whether or not you've been there before.
If I'm an OP on the server, I can teleport ~50000 blocks away from the previous mansion, find a nearby village, unlock a cartographer and get a new woodland explorer map that points to an unexplored mansion.
Is this change in behavior intended?
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find or create a cartographer in a village.
2. Trade up to get a woodland explorer map.
3. Travel to the woodland mansion located on the map.
4. Go to a new village you've never been to.
5. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
6. Compare the two woodland explorer maps. They'll probably be identical (except the first one will have parts of it explored already while the new one is completely unexplored.
