Mob behaviour
I have my villagers set up in a trading hall confined in one chunk. The villagers are in minecarts sitting on rails that are not connected but next to each other on the edges of the walls, 3 walls, 12 rails per wall. Their workstations are directly in front of them. I currently have 5 librarians, 1 armorer, and one toolsmith. I transported the villagers in one at a time, and giving them the trades I want, starting with three librarians, then the armorer, then the toolsmith. Those villagers had no problems. When I was moving the forth one in by rail fro 48+ blocks away, he suddenly became an librarian even though there were no random lecturnes lying around. I broke all of the lecturns to turn him back into unemployed and put one in front of him. He turned into a librarian. I then proceded to replace the lecturns that I broke and then broke the lecturn in front of the new one. It didn’t change back to un employed. I then broke the other lecturns and it turned back. I ended up syncing him with one lecturn then replacing them all. My fifth villager was extremely strange. When I transported him, he turned into an armorer. I had one blast furnace and that was supposedly taken by my only armorer. I broke the blast furnace and moved home within range where he could detect it, then moved him back. He then turned into a toolsmith. I repeated the process with my smithing table. Then he turned into a librarian. Without an available lecturn. I had a headache trying to fix that for awhile before repeating the same process that I had used on my fourth villager. All of this was done between 2000 and 8000, in different days, and I waited a bit before breaking or placing to see if it would be fixed.
i would be nice if there was a way to see what block a villager was stuck to and/or what villager is attached to a block
