High frequency, low duration rubber banding in single player

      After planting approx. 520 blocks of mixed crops (pumpkin, wheat, potato etc) I would experience very high frequency but very low duration rubber banding - much like mouse twitching/jerking.

       

      The following had no effect:

      Upping memory allocation to 4G, reducing render distance, reducing max framerate, reducing particle or entity values, changing biome blend & mipmap values.

      The following had an effect, and now there's no rubber banding:

      Removing all growing crops, leaving only tilled soil.
