Villagers were brought to a villager sorter from a breeder in mine-carts, then parked next to lecterns. They take on the Librarian profession immediately, as expected. We trade with them, advance them to expert level. We then send them to the trading hall about 64 blocks away, which has an accessible lectern in the trading booth with each villager. These librarians, once moved away from their original workstation, do not seem to "recognize" any other available lecterns, and would not restock their trades. We removed all workstations from the world, replaced them again, still didn't work. They do seem to "find" appropriate workstations (lecterns for librarians, etc) and reset their trades upwards of 200+ blocks distant from their "original" workstations.
