Pillagers get stuck in basic pathing to the village.

What I expected to happen was...:
Pillagers would reroute to locate the village.

What actually happened was...:
Pillagers were unable to jump out of the water and were spawning in caves. By the time I figured out what happened, at least 10-15 of them were stuck in the cave, and around 20 were aligned in the lake leading up to the village.

Steps to Reproduce:
no steps needed. When the pillagers spawn for the raid, they have dysfunction AI paths.
