This issue happen to all humanoid illagers (pillagers, vindicators, evokers, illusioners), witches, wandering traders and creepers.
If they are in the 1 deep water, they will stand at the bottom of the water without floating, if they are in the deeper water, their mouth will submerge in the water. Anyhow, they can't jump onto the land from the water
