*What I expected to happen was my player would just open the door and go through the door.

*What actually happened was
I opened the door, and i got in to elytra mode and I got through the door in elytra mode then I (with out doing anything) get back out of elytra mode.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. find a door (closed) with the door on the far side of the block like you can fit in the hole.
2. walk and with out stopping open the door as you go through it.
3. if it doesn't work try the step again.
