I went to sleep in a bed in survival mode, and when I woke up, it put me inside the wall at the headboard. I don't have any idea why that happened, since there was an open block next to the bed, and a sign on the footboard (which should also be a viable place for me to wake up in). I nearly suffocated before punching my way out of the cobblestone wall.
The headboard was covered by a wall, the two left spots were covered by another bed, the footboard was covered by a sign, the pillow-side right side was covered by a chest, and the sheet-side right side was open. It decided to put me in the wall rather than right there.
