I was playing my single player today in 19w08b and in some chuncks the chest doesn't make a sound when I open it. There is also no mob spawning around the corrupted area(There were no guardian spawning near some silent chest). The hopper in the same area also doesn't pull items in or out. I can not place block on top of the hopper. Seems like entities were also disappearing (My cats near a silent chest were gone).

I repalced the corrupted region data from 19w08a to my current world and that fixed the problem. The region data might be corrupted when player upgrade their world from the last snapshot to the current one.
