Item Frame Duplication via The End

What I expected to happen was...:
Item frames stayed intact

What actually happened was...:
Item frames "destroyed", dropping all the items on the ground

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up item frame(s), put item(s) inside
2. Travel to The End
3. Go back, end up at spawnpoint of choice (mine was my bed)
4. Go to the area with the item frames
5. Items drop on the ground
6. Pick them up
7. Save and Quit
8. Log back in
9. Item frames still the same, you got the duplicated items in your inventory.
