Unconfirmed
In my base area, I have a hostile mob grinder and a villager sorter fairly close to one another. The mechanics of reinforcements are causing random zombies to spawn all over my base. The zombie "sees" a villager, takes damage from magma, and can then call reinforcements at such a crazy distance from the zombie's current location that they start to appear all over the place.
Would it not make more sense to either reduce the reinforcement range from 40 to 16, reduce the lighting requirement to 8+ since no one is creating a survival base with light level 10+ everywhere, or only allow reinforcements when attacked by a player, not when tracking a villager while dying to the environment.
I know I can fix this by moving the mob grinder further away, but it seems like this is an unintended side effect of the mechanic and should be reviewed.
