Here's the problem:
When creating any sized water source, big or small, the bubble column does not generate.
It only happens when you create the water source in such a way that the water flows down to fill the gaps. Let me explain....
I created something like a 70x70x70 glass cube, an "aquarium" for one of my minigame projects.
Obviously, I filled that cube with water in such a way that I started from the top glass pane of the cube, broke the top of the cube and replaced it with water. It would take forever if I wanted to fill that cube block by block, that's like 300k+ blocks.
Anyway, that makes the magma cube and soul sand not recognize that there is water above, because it is not static but is technically falling down and the bubble column will not generate.
It works fine in all the oceans and lakes and rivers, since they are generated as static water sources, but this is the scenario where I found out that it doesn't work.
Is it supposed to be that way or is it somehow possible to fix it?
Or better yet - is there any easy way to fill a big water source with static water without using mods?
Thanks
