Minecraft Crashes on Startup

What I expected to happen was...:
Being able to join a friend's realm

What actually happened was:

Minecraft either crashes on startup, in the menus or as soon as I try to join a friend's realm. Only affects version 1.13.

Steps to Reproduce:

Launching minecraft? This seems to be an issue with nvidia specifically, and I can provide a crash report to give further details. Googling the errors from the crash yields no results.

Edit: Changing the Java exe from javaw to java.exe temporarily fixed the issue, however it has come back.
