I'm running a looping function with /clear @a minecraft:enchanted_golden_apple 64 and it does clear my inventory but the gapple is still in my inventory, i have to relog for the gapple to not show in my inventory. When the gapple was still showing in my inventory i could interact with it but it would just try eating it forever without eating it and thats how i know its not actually in my inventory, this applies to /clear on all items in a repeating command block or ticking fuinction, hope this makes sense lol
