The bug
As you can see it's a deep dark blue to the sides and on top from looking at water sides from air the color is much lighter compared to the glass it doesn't match the biome it's given. Another way to do this is to go to a swamp and look into it it will appear to be dark blue rather then brown.
Yes this is unintended since the snapshot was suppose to have water colorized per biome if you look water side through air it won't match this.
